It started out, not even with a challenge entry as a basis, but I bought a set of 3 Cheery Lyn butterfly dies. It's a little bit unconventional for me to step outside the Stampin Up! realm, but I love the detail in these dies and Stampin Up! doesn't have a similar alternative. I thought it would look amazing on the multi-coloured viney sheet of DSP from the Sycamore Street collection, and I do believe I was right!
The Firday Mashup challenge this week is to use a time theme and/or use black. I've just gone with the black this time. I didn't really have anything timey up my sleeve. I originally tried another version us ing Summer Starfruit as a main colour, but I didn't really like it much so I had another go. Nothing beats Pool Party and black!
The butterfly sort of fits on the second-smallest of the Beautiful Butterflies die. I've also used the Cloudy Day embossing folder, Sycamore Street DSP, the sentiment is Curly Cute and the ribbon is just a piece of black velvet ribbon.
Thanks for looking,
Bub
