Hey,
Firstly, here is the second of my cards in the "make two more cards with pinwheels" challenge:
I was in the mood to use my circle dies (which I didn't stick down too carefully), so that was the basis for my design. I stamped the pinwheel stamp from the Happy You hostess set in Stazon and coloured in with my markers with Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral. I had to do this prior to running the Cloudy Day embossing folder through the big shot, so it was.... er... totally on purpose that I debossed instead of embossed. There are no mistakes in papercraft!
The colours are Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral and the DSP is Tea for Two out of the Seasonal Mini.
More of that retired Calypso Coral organza ribbon....
I also have a card to share with you that some of us made at our craft gathering this week. It is called a wiper card and has a little pop-up element that swings like a windscreen wiper as you open and close the card. My friend, Vanessa provided the instructions!
Here is a picture with the card opened (mostly)
Mostly Closed
And fully closed
I used the retired Spice Cake DSP, Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set, Soft Suede, Pool Party and Very Vanilla Card Stock. I used Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon and I forgot to take any stamps with me for a sentiment so I borrowed Vanessa's Petite Pairs. Being acutely indecisive, I chose this one, because of the three sets that she offered me, this is the one that I don't own (to everyone's horror).
Thanks for stopping by - I'll be back shortly with another post... a challenge entry! I also realised I've done a couple of other things but haven't taken photos with them yet, so will return with them at some stage too.
Bub
